It is no secret that First Lady Melania Trump is a very private person. Now, a new report reveals just how private she really is, confiding in very few people in fear of anything being leaked to the media.
Express reports that CNN reporter Kate Bennett, who also published an autobiography of the First Lady titled “Free Melania: The unauthorized biography” revealed that Melania has a very “tight ship” in the East Wing of the White House. In turn, Melania only confides in very few people, for fear that anything she might say or do being leaked to the media. According to Bennett, Melania only has about three people in her circle of friends and advisors, and thus found it a challenge to report about her.
Because of the strict relationships, Melania has with those certain people, Bennett explained that there are details that would be great to include in the book but could not add. “Because of those relationships and because her world is so small, and she does that by design, she will know who told me what.” Bennett also added that she also has very few friends that she confides in as well.
As to why Melania’s East Wing is described by Bennett as a “very tight ship,” it is because the staff of her husband Donald Trump is very prone to leaking details to the media. On the other hand, Melania also happens to be the most “free person” in the Trump administration as well as the least-engaged First Lady compared to her predecessors.
But even with her very private nature, Melania is constantly under criticism. She previously became the subject of ridicule after sharing her opinion about her visit to Wyoming, to the National Elk Refuge. While expressing how she observed the beauty the Refuge brought to the land, many netizens were quick to comment, especially knowing her husband’s opinions regarding the environment.
Some pointed out how Donald does not have any respect for any national or natural monuments, even saying that her husband is already determined to destroy those “in record time.” But others said that hopefully the people in charge of maintaining the Refuge explained the situation to her and urged her to speak up against her husband.
